It’s Day 0, and my bone marrow transplant is underway. Drip drip! My sister Lisa is still in recovery and in quite a bit of pain after giving up nearly a gallon of marrow.
It’ GO time! Lisa is back in the operating room for Harvest and I am here at the JESUS statue praying with gratitude, and thankful for the gift of life. I love you Lisa. Cesar and Gabriel will thank you forever and ever!!!
It’s Day -1! Tomorrow we are celebrating 2 birthdays — my BFF Tracy’s and my new birthday!! I’m headed to radiation now and even though they’ll drug me with Ativan, which makes me sleepy, I am going to walk today! #ArmorUp for LIFE®!
